Who runs this site
speedtemplate.com is run by Fifth Gear Technologies, the company behind SPEEDtemplate and an authorized Leica iCON iCS50 dealer. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what choices you have.
What the site collects
The site only collects what you type into a form. The forms ask for:
- Name, company, email and phone number
- The trade you work in
- Your questions, or what you measure
- Whether you want a call instead of an email
- Which training guides you want sent to you
The site does not ask for payment details, and the site does not sell anything online.
How Fifth Gear uses the information
- To answer your questions
- To set up a demo, a quote or onboarding
- To send the training guides you ask for
- To follow up about SPEEDtemplate and the iCS50. Every email has a way to opt out.
Fifth Gear does not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Other services the site uses
A few outside services help the site work. Each one has its own privacy policy:
- FormSubmit delivers form messages to the Fifth Gear inbox. (FormSubmit privacy)
- Calendly handles demo bookings when you pick a time. (Calendly privacy)
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Loading a font sends your IP address to Google. (Google privacy)
- Leica Geosystems, when an iCS50 order or warranty needs the customer details
- YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, only when you click a link to those sites
The videos on this site play from the site itself, not from YouTube.
Cookies
The site itself does not use cookies to track you. The outside services above may set their own cookies when you use them.
How long the information is kept
Fifth Gear keeps form messages and contact details while there is a business reason to, such as an open conversation, a demo or a customer account. You can ask for deletion at any time.
Your choices
- Ask what information Fifth Gear has about you
- Ask Fifth Gear to correct or delete that information
- Opt out of follow-up emails with the link in any email, or by asking
Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights. Fifth Gear honors those requests. Fifth Gear will not treat you differently for making one.
Children
This site is for businesses and the trades. The site is not meant for children under 13, and Fifth Gear does not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Fifth Gear limits access to form messages to the staff who need them. No website is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information like card numbers through a form.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
